Melissa Spencer
Founder & Boss of Brilliant Speakers
Melissa Spencer is the founder and driving force behind behind Spencer’s Consulting and Spencer’s Virtual Solutions, bringing more than 35 years of experience in business operations, executive support, and speaker management to the speaking industry.
Known for her responsiveness, strategic thinking, and relationship-first approach, Melissa has built a reputation as a trusted partner to keynote speakers, meeting planners, speaker bureaus, and organizations across the country. Her expertise lies in helping speakers grow sustainable businesses while creating seamless, high-quality experiences for clients and event professionals.
Melissa's career began with more than two decades in C-suite support and office management, including 12 years at Darden Restaurants, where she spent six years as the executive assistant to the Chairman and CEO. In 2005, she took the entrepreneurial leap and launched Spencer’s Virtual Solutions, supporting speakers, consultants, and entrepreneurs with operational and administrative management so they could stay focused on their zone of genius.
Recognizing the growing need for strategic, high-touch speaker management, Melissa expanded her vision in 2019 by launching Spencer’s Consulting, a boutique speaker management firm representing keynote speakers and thought leaders
Melissa is deeply respected for her professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to making every engagement successful. She believes the best partnership are built on trust, communication, kindness, and follow-through - and those values are reflected in every client and speaker relationship she manages.
She has also served in leadership roles with the National Speakers Association Las Vegas, including Chapter President, as well as the International Association of Speaker Bureaus.
When she’s not supporting speakers and clients, Melissa enjoys traveling, reading, and cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Cowboys with her husband and two great nieces.
